Our Aims and Objectives

Act 2 Improve are behavioural consultants who incorporate performing arts, creative learning and solution focus, as a platform for individuals and groups to explore their own life experiences, feelings and personal challenges.

Act 2 Improve’s expertise is built around working with young people who have / are in:

• SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
• Offended and known to the local authorities (Young Offenders)
• EHC plans /Statements
• Pupil Referral Units (PRU)
• Alternative Education
• Secure Units
• 1-2-1 Mentoring Programmes
• Victims of Domestic Violence

Act 2 Improve programmes are designed for those learners who have, typically, already missed a significant amount of education due to their challenging behaviour in school; subsequent removal from the classroom; exclusions; poor attendance/punctuality and lack of self-regard.

The programmes we run are to help prepare learners to adjust to the school’s curriculum on their return to mainstream lessons.
