About Us

About Us

We at, Act 2 Improve, have over 2 decades of professional experience in working with vulnerable and challenging young people who have additional needs, ranging from: emotional behavioural difficulties; mental health needs and young people known to the local authorities.

We have a collection of innovative and creative solutions which our experienced team have developed.

The programmes we run support a variety of young people, such as:

  • engaging in criminality
  • at risk of becoming excluded from mainstream education
  • and young people who have been placed in alternative provision.

Our achievements

Our success and achievements, at Act 2 Improve, are due to the development and the sustainability of our behaviour management programmes, which meet the learning and social needs for vulnerable  young people.

During an Ofsted inspection carried out at Haybrook College in October 2007, we achieved an outstanding grade for our overall performance.

We have experience working within the Berks and Bucks County areas, Oxford, Reading, Aylesbury, Slough, Milton Keynes and London.

The programmes we developed for these establishments continue to flourish.

We have also had the privilege, in 2012, to give a motivational speech alongside the Mayor of Milton Keynes to a group of Key Stage 3/4 students from three mainstream schools in Milton Keynes.

The programmes we have developed and subsequently run in schools, we have every faith in, as our experience tells us that they work.
